Jurassic Park fans rejoice!
It’s been thirteen years since the last Jurassic Park movie was in theaters and twenty-one years since a good Jurassic Park movie has been in theaters. Seven months from now we’ll be rushing to fandango.com to snag tickets for the latest in the franchise, Jurassic World (in theaters June 12th).
Directed by Colin Trevorro and starring Chris Pratt and Judy Greer, the movie takes place 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, when John Hammond‘s idea has been realized, and a fully functioning dinosaur theme park is up and running. Of course, scientists continue to play God and shit gets crazy, dinosaurs get mad, and people get eaten (my speculation).
Watch for yourself and let me know what you think.
It looks promising and although I’m on the fence with Pratt and his lack of emotion, I’m excited to see it.
Oh, and that piano… chills.
